The concert of “The Festival Presents its Young Soloist” which will take place at İş Sanat on Saturday, June 7th will be given by Kaan Baysal, 11, as soloist and Anatolian University Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hakan Şensoy. The child pianist who has won the favor of the jury in national qualifications thanks to his superior technical and musical command will become one of the youngest soloists in the history of the festival. Kaan Baysal will play Haydn's D Major Piano Concerto (Hob No. XVIII:11) in the concert where Anatolia University Symphony Orchestra, which joins the Festival for the first time, will also play Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony (Fa Major 6th Symphony). Having had various tours recently including the University of Cologne in Germany, Anatolia University Syphony Orchestra has managed to become a key figure in the art life of Eskisehir with the opportunities it offers to the young soloists and conductors since its first foundation and with the first performances. The Orchestra includes the instructors and students of Anatolia University State Conservatory in addition to its skeleton crew.
Conducted by Christian Vasquez, the concert of the Venezuela Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra, the other activity sponsored by Polimeks, will take place in Zorlu Performance Arts Center at 20:30 on Tuesday, June 10th. A leading group in the orchestra  training program of Simon Bolivar Foundation – or El Sistema, as known globally -  the Venezuela Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra will refresh you faith in the power of music. To be conducted by the Music Director Christian Vásquez, one of the abilities that came out of the own system of El Sistema, the giant orchestra of 240 persons will exhibit its extremely colorful and powerful energy on the stage where it will play Roman Carnival by Hector Berlioz, Firebird Suite by Igor Stravinsky (1919),  and Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakow offering the audience memorable moments. The Music for Peace Orchestra and Chorus, which has become the most successful member of Sistema Europe that set out with a similar mission as El Sistema will take stage at the same evening before the Venezuela Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra.
