10 Yyl Abadanchylyk Avenue (10th Anniversary Welfare Avenue)

Named in honor of the 10th year of the republic, the 10 Yyl Abadanchylyk Avenue is ornamented with a monument that pays respect to the traditions of Turkmenistan, and has comfortable bus stops and subways with stores.

The 10 Yyl Abadanchylyk Avenue is 4.1 km long with a 4-lane main road and a 2-lane service road, located in south Ashgabat. 5 pedestrian subways with stores and junctions were also built as part of the project. LED information boards are used along the road and decorative stainless steel lampposts and air-conditioned bus stops with monitors, security cameras, stores and indoor and outdoor seating were also installed. The 25-meter “Dutar Statue” symbolizing “dutar”, the traditional instrument of Turkmenistan, rises from an area of 700 m2 on 10th Anniversary Abadancilik Avenue, surrounded by decorative pools and fountains.
